Ingredients

  • 4 oz. linguini
  • 4 oz. green linguini
  • water
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 8 oz. cooked ham, cut in strips
  • 3/4 cup cooked peas
  • 1 (2 1/2 oz.) can sliced mushrooms, drained
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup whipping cream
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Boil linguini in salted water; drain.
  2. Add butter, cooked ham, peas, and drained sliced mushrooms to the pasta.
  3. In a small bowl, beat egg yolks and cream with a fork until foamy.
  4. Slowly add the cream mixture to the linguini and stir well.
  5. Stir in 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese.
  6. Cook gently over medium heat until the mixture thickens.
  7. Add the remaining Parmesan cheese and stir.
