Ingredients

  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 (10 oz) packages frozen strawberries, drained
  • 1 1/4 cups oil
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. Save 1/2 cup of strawberry juice for the spread. Mix all dry ingredients together.
  2. Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients.
  3. Pour drained strawberries, oil, and eggs into the well.
  4. Mix well until combined. Add chopped pecans and fold in.
  5. Pour the batter equally into 2 greased bread pans.
  6. Bake at 350°F for 40 to 60 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  7. Let the bread cool before removing from pans and slicing.
