Ingredients

  • 1 lb. hamburger
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. ginger
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 packet dry onion soup
  • 3 to 4 cups medium wide noodles
  • 1 (3 oz.) can sliced mushrooms
  • 3 to 3 3/4 cups hot water
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 cup sour cream

Instructions

  1. Brown the hamburger in a large frypan at 350°F, adding salt and pepper.
  2. Sprinkle dry onion soup and ginger over the meat.
  3. Add 3 to 4 cups of medium wide noodles to the frypan.
  4. Add sliced mushrooms and 3 to 4 cups hot water, ensuring all noodles are wet.
  5. Cook at 225°F for 20 to 25 minutes, stirring once or twice.
  6. Add flour and sour cream to the frypan; mix well and cook for 3 minutes.
  7. Serve hot.
