Ingredients

  • 2 to 3 red Delicious apples
  • pineapple or lemon juice
  • 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
  • 2 to 3 Tbsp. honey
  • 1/3 cup finely chopped dates
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans
  • lettuce leaves

Instructions

  1. Core unpeeled apples and cut into 3/4-inch thick rings.
  2. Dip apple rings in pineapple or lemon juice to prevent browning.
  3. Set aside.
  4. Place cream cheese in a small mixing bowl and beat at medium speed with an electric mixer until smooth.
  5. Add honey and beat at medium speed until light and fluffy.
  6. Stir in finely chopped dates and chopped pecans.
