Ingredients

  • 4 medium green bell peppers
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1/2 cup Minute rice
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano
  • 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/3 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 egg

Instructions

  1. Cut the bell peppers in half lengthwise; remove the core and seeds.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix ground beef, minute rice, pepper, oregano, garlic powder, 1/3 cup tomato sauce, and egg until well blended.
  3. Spoon the beef mixture into the bell pepper halves and top with the remaining tomato sauce.
  4. Cover the stuffed peppers with waxed paper.
  5. Heat in the microwave on roast for 19 to 22 minutes.
  6. Allow to stand covered for 4 minutes before serving.
