Ingredients

  • 2 lb. ground beef
  • 1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
  • 1/4 c. sour cream
  • 1/2 tsp. dill weed
  • 2 c. toasted bread crumbs
  • 1/4 c. chopped mushrooms
  • 1/4 c. pitted ripe olives
  • 1/3 c. water
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper

Instructions

  1. Cream together cream cheese, sour cream, and dill weed.
  2. Stir in toasted bread crumbs, chopped mushrooms, and pitted ripe olives.
  3. Shape ground beef into 12 thin patties, 4 to 5 inches in diameter.
  4. Place an equal amount of cheese stuffing in the center of 6 patties; top with remaining patties, pressing edges together to seal.
  5. Place burgers on the grill, 3 to 4 inches from heat, and broil at moderate temperature for 8 to 12 minutes on each side or until done.
