Ingredients

  • 2 bags bread cubes
  • 1/2 lb. butter or margarine
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 4 stalks celery, diced
  • 1/2 tsp. poultry or chicken seasoning
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. ground black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. thyme
  • 16 oz. can chicken broth

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Place bread cubes in a large bowl. Melt butter in a saute pan.
  3. Add chopped onion, diced celery, poultry or chicken seasoning, salt, black pepper, and thyme to the melted butter. Saute on medium-high heat until onions are soft and clear.
  4. Add the sautéed mixture to the bread cubes.
  5. Pour chicken broth over the bread mixture.
  6. Mix thoroughly to combine all ingredients.
  7. Transfer the mixture to an oven-safe pan and spread evenly.
  8. Bake for approximately 30 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
  9. Transfer to a serving dish and enjoy!
