Ingredients

  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 12 oz. chocolate chips
  • 3 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 3/4 c. chopped nuts
  • 1 c. margarine or butter
  • 2 c. brown sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 3 c. oats

Instructions

  1. Melt milk, chocolate chips and 3 tablespoons butter in double boiler over low heat. Add 1 teaspoon vanilla and chopped nuts.
  2. In mixing bowl, cream together the margarine, brown sugar and eggs. Mix flour, soda, salt, oats, nuts and 2 teaspoons vanilla.
  3. Press 2/3 oat mixture into a 9 x 13-inch pan.
  4. Pour chocolate mixture over oat mixture. Crumble remaining oat mixture over chocolate. Bake at 350° for 20 to 25 minutes. Sinfully delicious!
