- Melt milk, chocolate chips and 3 tablespoons butter in double boiler over low heat. Add 1 teaspoon vanilla and chopped nuts.
- In mixing bowl, cream together the margarine, brown sugar and eggs. Mix flour, soda, salt, oats, nuts and 2 teaspoons vanilla.
- Press 2/3 oat mixture into a 9 x 13-inch pan.
- Pour chocolate mixture over oat mixture. Crumble remaining oat mixture over chocolate. Bake at 350° for 20 to 25 minutes. Sinfully delicious!
