Ingredients

  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1 egg
  • 1 stick melted butter
  • 8 oz. cream cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 box powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Combine the yellow cake mix, 1 egg, and 1 stick of melted butter. Mix well and press this mixture into a 9 x 13-inch pan.
  2. Beat together the cream cheese, 2 eggs, and all ingredients except 1/2 of the powdered sugar.
  3. Pour the cream cheese mixture over the cake mixture in the pan.
  4. Bake at 350°F (175°C) until done, about 30 minutes.
  5. While still warm, sprinkle the remaining powdered sugar over the top.
  6. Cool completely, then cut into squares and serve.
