Butterscotch Nuggets are delightful cookies filled with rich butterscotch flavor, topped with chopped nuts, perfect for satisfying sweet cravings and ideal for sharing with friends.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 1/4 c. white sugar
  • 1 2/3 c. flour
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. coarsely chopped nuts
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda

Instructions

  1. Make small balls of the cookie dough, then flatten them.
  2. Use your finger or a utensil to make a hole in the center of each cookie, not all the way through.
  3. Melt chocolate chips and stir in some icing sugar until smooth.
  4. Drop the melted chocolate mixture into the hole in each cookie and place half a chopped nut on top.
  5. Bake the cookies until they are golden brown.
