Ingredients

  • 1 cup marshmallows
  • 2 cups regular rolled oats
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 2 cups crispy rice cereal
  • 1 cup sunflower seeds
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup peanuts

Instructions

  1. Melt butter in a large saucepan over low heat.
  2. Add peanut butter and stir until blended.
  3. Add marshmallows and stir constantly until melted.
  4. Alternatively, melt butter, peanut butter, and marshmallows in a microwave-safe bowl for 2 minutes, then stir to blend and microwave another 1 to 2 minutes until melted.
  5. Mix crispy rice cereal, rolled oats, and peanuts in a bowl.
  6. Stir the dry mixture into the melted marshmallow mixture.
  7. Add chocolate candies at the very end of the blending process.
  8. Butter a 9 x 13-inch pan and press the mixture into the pan with buttered hands.
  9. Let cool, then cut into bars.
  10. Wrap in plastic wrap or store in freezer in plastic bags.
