Super Lasagna combines rich meat sauce, creamy cottage cheese, and melted mozzarella for a hearty, flavorful Italian-inspired dish perfect for family dinners or gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 lb. hamburger
  • 1 can marinara sauce
  • 1 small carton cottage cheese
  • 1 medium mozzarella cheese ball, sliced very thin
  • 2 beaten eggs
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 tablespoons parsley flakes

Instructions

  1. Brown hamburger; drain.
  2. Add marinara sauce and simmer 20 minutes.
  3. Boil noodles and have ready.
  4. Mix cottage cheese, beaten eggs, Parmesan cheese, salt, pepper, and parsley flakes in a small bowl.
  5. Place half of the noodles in a 9 x 13-inch baking pan; spread half of the cottage cheese mixture over noodles.
  6. Layer with half of the sliced mozzarella cheese, then half of the meat sauce.
  7. Repeat layers with remaining noodles, cottage cheese mixture, mozzarella, and meat sauce.
  8. Add a few slices of mozzarella cheese on top.
  9. Bake at 375°F for about 30 minutes.
  10. Let stand for 10 minutes before serving.
