Ingredients

  • 1 lb. lasagna noodles
  • 2 lb. hamburger
  • 1/2 lb. sausage
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 tsp. Italian seasoning
  • 1 large can tomatoes
  • 1 large can water
  • 1 large can tomato paste
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can Parmesan cheese
  • 1 (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 lb. Mozzarella cheese, shredded

Instructions

  1. Brown hamburger with chopped onion, minced garlic, and Italian seasoning in a large skillet.
  2. Add tomato paste, canned tomatoes, water, and cream of mushroom soup to the meat mixture.
  3. Let the sauce simmer for at least 1 hour to develop flavors.
  4. While the sauce simmers, shred the frozen cream cheese and Mozzarella cheese.
  5. Cook lasagna noodles according to package directions.
  6. Layer cooked noodles, meat sauce, and cheeses in a 9 x 13-inch baking dish, repeating until all ingredients are used.
  7. Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 30-35 minutes until bubbly and golden on top.
