Ingredients

  • 2 lb. broccoli
  • 8 slices bacon, cut into 1-inch strips
  • 1/4 c. minced green onions
  • 1 Tbsp. dark or light brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. cider vinegar
  • 1/8 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. black pepper

Instructions

  1. Trim the leaves and coarse stem ends from the broccoli and cut the stems and florets into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Bring about 1 inch of lightly salted water to a boil in a 3-quart saucepan.
  3. Add the broccoli and cook, covered, for 5 minutes, or until crisp-tender. Drain well.
