Ingredients

  • 2 tsp. instant chicken bouillon granules
  • 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen cut broccoli
  • 2 c. milk
  • 1 c. shredded Swiss cheese
  • 1/8 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1/4 c. flour

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, heat the bouillon in 1 1/2 cups water until dissolved.
  2. Add the frozen broccoli, cover, and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until tender.
  3. Add the milk, shredded Swiss cheese, nutmeg, and a dash of pepper. Cook and stir until the cheese melts.
  4. Combine the flour with 1/2 cup cold water; stir into the broccoli mixture.
  5. Cook and stir until the mixture thickens and becomes bubbly.
