Instructions
- Brown sausage, stirring to break up.
- Drain the cooked sausage.
- Place bread slices in the bottom of a greased 9 x 13-inch glass baking dish.
- Spread crumbled sausage over the bread.
- Top with grated Swiss cheese or mozzarella.
- In a bowl, beat eggs and mix with milk, salt, pepper, nutmeg, prepared mustard, and Worcestershire sauce.
- Pour the egg mixture over the casserole.
- Cover and refrigerate overnight.
- Bake at 350°F for 30 minutes, uncovered.
