Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. lean ground beef
  • 1 package onion soup mix
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1 1/2 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons dried parsley
  • 1/2 cup sour cream

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, 2 tablespoons onion soup mix, and milk.
  2. Mix well and shape firmly into meatballs.
  3. Brown the meatballs in butter in a large skillet.
  4. Remove the pan from heat.
  5. Stir in flour, remaining soup mix, water, and parsley.
  6. Cover and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  7. Gradually stir in sour cream; heat through but do not boil.
  8. Serve over rice.
