Ingredients

  • 1 lb. swordfish steaks
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce (low salt)
  • 1/4 cup orange juice
  • 2 Tbsp. ketchup
  • 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • dash of garlic powder
  • 2 Tbsp. chopped parsley
  • 1/2 tsp. oregano
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • Pam
  • slivered almonds

Instructions

  1. Clean the swordfish steaks and place them in a shallow pan.
  2. Mix soy sauce, orange juice, ketchup, lemon juice, garlic powder, chopped parsley, oregano, and pepper in a bowl.
  3. Pour the marinade over the steaks and refrigerate for 2 hours.
  4. Preheat the broiler and grease a broiler pan with Pam.
  5. Place the marinated steaks on the prepared pan, 4 to 5 inches from the heat source.
  6. Broil for 8 minutes, then turn the steaks, baste with marinade, and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
  7. Top the steaks with slivered almonds and thin lemon slices before serving.
