Tips & Substitutions

For a spicier relish, consider adding more chopped green peppers or a pinch of cayenne pepper. If zucchini is in short supply, you can substitute some of it with finely grated cucumbers. Ensure to drain the zucchini and onion well after salting to avoid a watery relish. Using fresh spices can enhance the flavor significantly.
