Tips & Substitutions

For a richer flavor, consider adding a pinch of garlic powder or using a flavored mustard. If you don't have cheddar cheese, Swiss or provolone can also work well in this recipe. When sautéing the onions, cook them slowly to bring out their natural sweetness, which will enhance the overall taste of the dish.

Serving Suggestions

These ham and cheese rolls are perfect for game day or as a party appetizer. Serve them alongside a fresh salad or a bowl of soup for a complete meal. They also pair beautifully with Diana'S Apple Pie for a delightful finish to your gathering.

Storage & Reheating

Store any leftover ham and cheese rolls in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. To reheat, wrap them in aluminum foil and warm in a 350°F oven until heated through, about 15-20 minutes. This helps maintain the softness of the rolls while melting the cheese.
