Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 onion, chopped
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 to 3/4 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 clove garlic, crushed
  • 1/2 teaspoon mayonnaise

Instructions

  1. Mix ground beef with chopped onion.
  2. Combine egg and milk.
  3. Add bread crumbs to the egg mixture, then combine with the meat mixture.
  4. Mix soy sauce, sugar, crushed garlic, and mayonnaise in a bowl to make the sauce.
  5. Stir half of the sauce into the meat mixture.
  6. Shape the meat mixture into a loaf.
  7. Bake the meat loaf at 350°F for 45 to 50 minutes.
  8. Halfway through cooking, pour the remaining sauce over the loaf.
