Ingredients

  • 2 c. cake flour
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 c. sour cream
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 2 sticks margarine
  • 1 c. water
  • 4 Tbsp. cocoa

Instructions

  1. Combine cake flour, sugar, salt, eggs, sour cream, and soda in a bowl.
  2. Bring margarine, water, and cocoa to a boil in a saucepan.
  3. Add the hot cocoa mixture all at once to the flour mixture.
  4. Mix well until smooth.
  5. Pour the batter into a greased jelly roll pan.
  6. Bake at 350°F for 20 minutes.
