Tender steak strips cooked with green onions in a flavorful chili sauce, perfect for a hearty, savory meal suited for casual gatherings or weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

  • 2 sirloin strip steaks
  • 3 Tbsp margarine
  • 1 cup sliced green onions
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 1/2 cup chili sauce
  • dash salt
  • dash black pepper

Instructions

  1. Cut the sirloin strip steaks into even strips.
  2. Heat 1.5 tablespoons of margarine in a skillet and cook the steak strips until done.
  3. Remove the cooked steak strips and keep warm.
  4. Add the remaining 1.5 tablespoons of margarine to the pan.
  5. Add sliced green onions and sauté for 4 to 5 minutes until soft, but not brown.
  6. Add beef broth and chili sauce, stir well, and simmer briefly to combine flavors.
