Thai Beef With Broccoli

- Partially freeze the round steak.
- With a sharp knife, slice the meat very thin and into bite-size pieces.
- In a blender, combine water, garlic, 2 tablespoons cooking oil, lemon juice, soy sauce, crushed red pepper, fish sauce, and cornstarch.
- Cover and blend until smooth.
- Set aside the sauce mixture.
- Heat a wok or large skillet over high heat. Add 2 tablespoons cooking oil.
- Stir-fry the broccoli for 3 to 4 minutes or until crisp-tender. Remove from wok.
- Add more oil if necessary; add half of the beef strips to the wok.
- Stir-fry for 3 minutes; remove and cook the remaining beef.
- Return all the beef and broccoli to the wok.
- Stir in the cornstarch mixture.
- Cook and stir until thickened and bubbly.
- Cover and cook for 1 minute more.
- Serve over rice or Chinese noodles.
