Ingredients

  • 2 lb. ground chuck
  • 2 bell peppers
  • 2 onions
  • Chili powder
  • 1 celery stalk
  • 16 oz. hot picante sauce
  • 4 (16 oz.) cans Ranch Style beans
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. seasoning salt

Instructions

  1. Fry the ground chuck until browned and drain excess fat.
  2. Saute the onions, bell peppers, and celery until tender.
  3. Add the sautéed vegetables to the ground chuck.
  4. Stir in the hot picante sauce and bring to a boil.
  5. Add all remaining ingredients to a large bean pot.
  6. Cook on low heat for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  7. Serve hot with cornbread or crackers.
