Ingredients

  • 3 lb. beef cubes
  • 2 qt. water
  • 2 lb. carrots, peeled and sliced
  • 4 lb. potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 2 (8 oz.) cans tiny white onions or 2 large fresh onions, diced
  • 3 cans tomato soup
  • 12 oz. tomato paste
  • 4 1/2 c. water
  • 1 Tbsp. salt

Instructions

  1. Cook the beef cubes and water in a 350°F oven for 1 hour.
  2. Add remaining ingredients including carrots, potatoes, onions, tomato soup, tomato paste, water, and salt.
  3. Cook until vegetables are tender and done, adding more water to achieve a medium soup consistency.
