Ingredients

  • 1 medium head cabbage, shredded
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 green pepper, chopped
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup vinegar
  • 1/2 cup cooking oil
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 (3 oz) can pimento, chopped

Instructions

  1. Combine shredded cabbage, chopped onion, chopped green pepper, and chopped pimento in a large bowl.
  2. In a saucepan, combine honey, vinegar, cooking oil, sugar, and salt; bring to a hard boil.
  3. Pour the hot sauce over the chopped vegetables and mix well.
  4. Pack the mixture into containers and cover.
  5. Refrigerate for 3 days without removing the cover before serving.
