Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb. Polish sausage, sliced into 1/4 inch pieces
  • 1/2 lb. ground beef
  • 3 Tbsp. sliced onions
  • 5 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 2 (16 oz.) cans pork and beans
  • 1/3 cup catsup
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. molasses
  • 1 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 1/2 tsp. prepared mustard

Instructions

  1. Brown the Polish sausage slices in a skillet.
  2. Remove the sausage and discard drippings.
  3. Combine ground beef and sliced onions in the skillet and cook until browned, stirring to crumble. Drain excess fat.
  4. Combine the cooked beef mixture, sausage, cooked bacon, pork and beans, catsup, brown sugar, molasses, Worcestershire sauce, and prepared mustard in a large bowl.
  5. Pour the mixture into a lightly greased 2-quart casserole dish.
  6. Bake uncovered at 350°F (175°C) for 30 minutes.
