Tips & Substitutions

For a crunchier texture, consider adding a few cups of your favorite nuts or seeds. If you want to cut back on sodium, you can use low-sodium versions of the seasoned salt and bacon grease. Additionally, substituting olive oil for bacon grease can make this dish vegetarian-friendly while still maintaining a delicious flavor profile.
