Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 4 to 5 white onions, finely chopped
  • 4 hot green chili peppers, chopped
  • 3 to 4 hard-cooked eggs, chopped
  • 15 ripe and/or stuffed olives, chopped
  • Tabasco or hot sauce
  • 2 bell peppers, finely chopped
  • 1 Tbsp oil
  • salt
  • pepper
  • paprika
  • cayenne

Instructions

  1. Cook onions, peppers, and chilies in oil with ground beef until the meat is done but not too brown.
  2. Season with salt, pepper, paprika, cayenne, and Worcestershire sauce.
  3. Cool the mixture slightly.
  4. Add chopped hard-cooked eggs and chopped olives; season to taste.
  5. Chill the filling overnight if possible.
  6. Prepare pie crusts and roll dough thinly.
  7. Cut dough into 3-inch rounds.
  8. Place 1 tablespoon of filling on each round and fold over.
  9. Pinch together at edges with a fork to seal.
  10. Bake at 450°F (230°C) for 20 minutes until golden brown.
