Sweet and crunchy toffee gram bars combine buttery caramel, toasted almonds, and crisp graham crackers for a delicious treat perfect for sharing at gatherings or enjoyed as a snack.

Ingredients

  • 1 box graham crackers
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 12 oz. almonds

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F and line a cookie sheet with graham crackers.
  2. In a small saucepan, boil butter, margarine, and white sugar for 2 minutes.
  3. Pour the hot mixture over the graham crackers.
  4. Sprinkle the almonds evenly over the top.
  5. Bake for 15 minutes.
  6. Remove from oven and use a spatula to lift the bars onto wax paper.
  7. Allow to harden for 5 minutes before cutting and serving.
