Ingredients

  • 1 finely chopped onion
  • 1/2 large bell pepper, finely chopped
  • 1/2 large red pepper, finely chopped
  • 2 Tbsp margarine
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 (8 oz) cans tomato sauce
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 heaping cups raw egg noodles
  • 1 (11 oz) can niblet corn
  • 1 cup grated Cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Sauté onions and peppers in margarine; add ground beef and brown.
  2. Add tomato sauce, water, salt, and pepper; stir in uncooked egg noodles and cook until tender.
  3. Add corn and remove from heat.
  4. Pour mixture into a large casserole dish.
  5. Dot the top with butter.
  6. Cover with grated cheese.
  7. Bake at 350°F for 40-45 minutes.
