Ingredients

  • 3 Tbsp. cooking oil
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. black pepper
  • 1 c. sliced onion
  • 1 chopped green pepper
  • 1 (12 oz.) can whole kernel corn
  • 1 (3 oz.) can sliced mushrooms
  • 1/2 lb. medium noodles
  • 1/4 lb. grated American cheese
  • 1 (2 1/2 lb.) can tomatoes
  • grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. In hot oil in Dutch oven, cook beef, stirring for about 10 minutes.
  2. Stir in salt, black pepper, sliced onion, chopped green pepper, whole kernel corn, and sliced mushrooms.
  3. Top with uncooked medium noodles.
  4. Sprinkle with 1/4 lb. grated American cheese.
  5. Pour tomatoes over all.
  6. Simmer, covered, for 1 hour.
  7. Serve with grated Parmesan cheese.
