Ingredients

  • 4 slices bacon
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 can tomato soup
  • 4 cups drained cooked lima beans

Instructions

  1. Fry bacon until crispy, then set aside.
  2. Brown chopped onion in the bacon drippings until translucent.
  3. Combine the cooked bacon, browned onion, canned tomato soup, and drained cooked lima beans in a bowl.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a 1½-quart casserole dish.
  5. Sprinkle the top with buttered breadcrumbs.
  6. Bake in a preheated 375°F oven for 30 minutes until golden and bubbly.
