Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground pork
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 2 small onions, diced
  • 1/2 tsp. ground cloves
  • 1/2 tsp. celery salt
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 cup bread crumbs

Instructions

  1. Mix ground pork, ground beef, diced onions, ground cloves, celery salt, salt, and pepper together in a bowl.
  2. Cook the mixture over low heat for 1 1/2 hours, stirring occasionally.
  3. Pour the cooked meat filling into an unbaked pie shell.
  4. Cover with a top crust and cut steam vents with a knife.
  5. Bake at 375°F for 50 to 60 minutes, until golden brown.
