Ingredients

  • 1 cup sifted all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon nonfat dry milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons cooking oil
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/3 cup raisins or currants

Instructions

  1. Mix all-purpose flour, baking powder, sugar, dry milk, and salt in a bowl.
  2. Add cooking oil and water; stir until well combined.
  3. Fold in raisins or currants evenly.
  4. Spread the batter in a well-greased skillet.
  5. Cover and cook slowly over hot coals or bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for 25 to 30 minutes.
