Ingredients

  • 3 lb. round steak
  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • 1/4 c. onion
  • 1/2 lb. mushrooms
  • 8 Tbsp. flour
  • 8 Tbsp. water
  • 8 Tbsp. catsup
  • 1 tsp. mustard
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp. horseradish
  • 2 beef bouillon cubes

Instructions

  1. Trim fat from steak and cut into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Brown the meat, onions, and mushrooms in butter in a large skillet.
  3. Mix flour with water to create a slurry and add to the skillet.
  4. Stir in catsup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, horseradish, and beef bouillon cubes.
  5. Simmer until the sauce thickens and the beef is cooked through.
  6. Serve hot over noodles or rice.
