Ingredients
- 1 lb. lean ground beef ⓘ
- 1/2 cup dry bread crumbs ⓘ
- 1/2 cup chopped onion ⓘ
- 1 teaspoon salt ⓘ
- 1 (5.3 oz.) can evaporated milk ⓘ
- 4 oz. spaghetti, cooked and drained ⓘ
- 1 egg, beaten ⓘ
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese ⓘ
- 2 tablespoons butter ⓘ
- 1 (1 oz.) can pizza sauce ⓘ
- 1/2 teaspoon oregano ⓘ
- 1 cup (4 oz.) shredded Mozzarella cheese ⓘ
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Combine ground beef, bread crumbs, chopped onion, salt, and evaporated milk in a bowl.
- Press the mixture firmly onto the bottom and sides of a 9-inch pie pan to form the crust.
- Bake for 35 to 40 minutes, then spoon off drippings.
- Meanwhile, cook spaghetti according to package instructions and drain.
- In a bowl, combine cooked spaghetti, beaten egg, grated Parmesan cheese, and butter.
- Spread the spaghetti mixture evenly over the baked meat shell.
- Top with pizza sauce, oregano, pepper rings if desired, and shredded mozzarella cheese.
- Bake for an additional 10 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Let stand for 5 minutes before cutting into wedges and serving.
