Ingredients

  • 4 cups shredded lettuce
  • 1 1/2 cups cooked and drained medium shell macaroni
  • 2 cups chopped cucumber
  • 2 cups chopped tomatoes
  • 2 (6 1/2 oz.) cans tuna, drained and flaked
  • 1 (10 oz.) package frozen green peas, thawed and drained
  • 1 cup shredded mild Cheddar cheese
  • 1 1/2 cups salad dressing or mayonnaise

Instructions

  1. Layer in a 3-quart serving bowl: shredded lettuce, cooked and drained macaroni, chopped cucumber, chopped tomatoes, flaked tuna, thawed green peas, and shredded Cheddar cheese.
  2. Spread salad dressing or mayonnaise over the layered salad, sealing to the edge of the bowl.
  3. Cover and refrigerate for several hours or overnight to allow flavors to meld.
  4. Toss the salad gently before serving.
