Ingredients

  • 6 1/2 oz. can tuna (water packed)
  • 1 package frozen peas (nearly thawed)
  • 1 cup sliced celery
  • 1 small chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup grated carrot
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 5 oz. can chow mein noodles

Instructions

  1. Drain the tuna and set aside.
  2. Combine the tuna, frozen peas, sliced celery, chopped onion, grated carrot, mayonnaise, sugar, and lemon juice in a large bowl.
  3. Refrigerate the mixture until chilled and flavors meld.
  4. Just before serving, add the chow mein noodles and toss lightly to combine.
