Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp. margarine
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 2 chicken bouillon cubes, crumbled
  • 1 c. skim milk
  • 8 oz. cooked turkey, cubed
  • 1 c. fresh sliced mushrooms
  • 2 c. cooked rice
  • 4 oz. shredded Cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Melt margarine in a saucepan.
  2. Blend in flour and crumbled chicken bouillon cubes.
  3. Gradually stir in skim milk, stirring until the mixture comes to a boil.
  4. Stir in cooked turkey and sliced mushrooms.
  5. Arrange cooked rice in an 8-inch nonstick baking pan.
  6. Spoon the turkey mixture over the rice.
  7. Sprinkle evenly with shredded Cheddar cheese.
  8. Bake at 350°F for 30 minutes.
