Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup buttermilk
  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 1/4 cup flour
  • oil (for frying)
  • 1 tablespoon instant chicken bouillon
  • 1 pound boneless chicken strips
  • 2 teaspoons paprika

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine buttermilk, chicken bouillon, and oregano. Let stand for 1 minute.
  2. Stir in the chicken strips and let them marinate for 30 minutes.
  3. In a plastic bag, combine flour and paprika.
  4. Add the chicken strips to the flour mixture, a few pieces at a time, and coat them thoroughly.
  5. Dip the coated chicken strips into the buttermilk mixture, then coat again with the flour mixture.
  6. Fry the chicken strips until golden brown on both sides.
