Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 5 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 egg
  • 2 c. graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 c. coconut
  • 1/2 c. chopped nuts
  • 1/4 c. butter
  • 3 Tbsp. milk
  • 2 Tbsp. instant vanilla pudding
  • 2 c. confectioners sugar

Instructions

  1. Beat the first 5 ingredients until well blended; boil over low heat, stirring for 2 minutes. Add the graham cracker crumbs, coconut and nuts.
  2. Spread in a 13 x 9-inch pan.
  3. Pat down and cool.
  4. Combine the 1/4 cup butter, milk, pudding and confectioners sugar.
  5. Mix thoroughly with mixer and spread over bottom layer. Melt the chocolate and 2 tablespoons butter. Spread on top of creamy layer.
  6. Refrigerate until set. Cut into squares.
