Creamy chicken and pecan-stuffed crescent rolls with a crunchy stuffing topping, perfect for a comforting appetizer or main dish that's rich in flavor and easy to prepare.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup stuffing mix
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans
  • 8 oz. cream cheese and chive dip
  • 2 Tbsp. butter, softened
  • 1/2 tsp. lemon pepper seasoning
  • 1 to 2 1/2 lb. chicken, cooked, boned, and chopped
  • 2 (8 count) crescent rolls

Instructions

  1. Mix together stuffing mix and chopped pecans and set aside.
  2. Combine cream cheese and chive dip, softened butter, lemon pepper seasoning, and cooked, chopped chicken; spread mixture on the wide end of each crescent roll and seal.
  3. Melt butter and dip each stuffed crescent roll in melted butter, then in the stuffing mixture.
  4. Place the coated rolls in a baking dish.
  5. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 15 to 20 minutes until golden brown.
  6. For gravy, heat up cream of chicken, cheese, or broccoli cheese soup undiluted and spoon over baked rolls before serving.
