Ingredients

  • 13 oz. bag vanilla wafers, crushed
  • 2 c. pecans, chopped
  • 1/2 lb. cherries, candied
  • 1/2 lb. pineapple, candied
  • 5 oz. white raisins
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 c. white sugar
  • 1 small can Carnation
  • 1/4 tsp. salt

Instructions

  1. Place crushed vanilla wafers in a large bowl.
  2. Add chopped cherries, pineapple, pecans, and raisins.
  3. Mix well using hands.
  4. Beat eggs, sugar, milk, and salt together.
  5. Pour the mixture over the fruit and mix well with hands.
  6. Place in a greased tube pan and press down with hand.
  7. Wet your hand before pressing to prevent sticking.
  8. Bake at 325°F (160°C) for 1 hour.
  9. Cool for 15 minutes before removing from the pan.
