Ingredients

  • 4 (3 oz.) pieces veal
  • flour
  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 apple, cut in wedges
  • 1/4 cup roasted pecans
  • 2 Tbsp. honey
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Coat the veal pieces with flour.
  2. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
  3. Add the veal and cook about 2 minutes on each side or until lightly browned.
  4. Add the apple wedges and roasted pecans to the skillet.
  5. Cook and stir until the apples are tender-crisp.
  6. Add honey and brown sugar to the skillet.
  7. Cook and stir until everything is warm and coated.
  8. Optional: Serve on large croutons made from white bread, sprinkled with salt and pepper, baked at 350°F for 10 minutes.
