  3. Place a slice of Prosciutto on each veal piece and secure with a toothpick.
  4. Heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter in a skillet on high heat.

Tips & Substitutions

For optimal flavor, use fresh sage as it pairs beautifully with the veal. If you can't find veal, thinly sliced chicken or pork can be a suitable substitute. Make sure to not overcrowd the skillet when browning the meat to achieve a nice sear. For a twist, consider adding a splash of lemon juice to the gravy for brightness.

Serving Suggestions

Serve Veal Saltimbocca over a bed of creamy polenta or alongside sautéed asparagus for a delightful meal. A light salad with a vinaigrette helps balance the richness of the dish. For a complete Italian experience, consider pairing with Tasty Spaghetti or a slice of Kelly'S Lasagne.

Storage & Reheating

Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. To reheat, place the veal in a skillet over low heat, adding a splash of white wine or broth to keep it moist. Cover the skillet to trap steam and heat evenly until warmed through.
