Ingredients

  • 1 lb hamburger
  • 1 can tomato paste
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp oregano leaves
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 2 Tbsp parsley flakes
  • 2 cups grated Mozzarella cheese
  • 1 can crushed tomatoes
  • 1 1/2 tsp basil leaves
  • 1/8 tsp garlic salt
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 8 lasagna noodles cooked
  • 1/4 cup taco sauce
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp mustard
  • 1 1/2 cups cottage cheese (optional)
  • 1/2 cup mushrooms
  • 2 cups Cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Cook and drain hamburger.
  2. Add spices, water, tomato paste, crushed tomatoes, beaten egg, and mushrooms to the hamburger.
  3. Cook the mixture for 20 minutes.
  4. Fold in cottage cheese (if using).
  5. Layer in a 9 x 13-inch pan: 4 cooked lasagna noodles, half of the sauce, and half of the cheese mixture. Repeat with remaining ingredients.
  6. Bake in a 350°F oven until all cheese melts and starts to turn golden, approximately 20 minutes.
