Ingredients

  • 1 to 2 lb. ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 7 or 8 Irish potatoes, cut up
  • 1 clove garlic, chopped or flakes
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. black pepper
  • 3 Tbsp. oil
  • 2 bags gumbo vegetables
  • 2 cans tomato sauce
  • water

Instructions

  1. Cook ground beef and seasonings until tender.
  2. Add chopped onion, Irish potatoes, garlic, oil, gumbo vegetables, tomato sauce, and enough water to cover.
  3. Simmer slowly with the lid on until vegetables and meat are tender.
