Ingredients

  • 2 c. chopped cabbage
  • 2 c. chopped celery
  • 1 c. chopped carrots
  • 1 c. chopped green pepper
  • 1/2 c. chopped pecans
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 2 (3 oz.) packages lemon gelatin
  • 2 c. boiling water
  • 1/4 c. lemon juice
  • 1 c. mayonnaise
  • 3/4 tsp. salt

Instructions

  1. Combine chopped cabbage, celery, carrots, green pepper, pecans, and onion in a large bowl; mix well.
  2. Dissolve lemon gelatin in boiling water in a separate bowl.
  3. Add lemon juice, mayonnaise, and salt to the dissolved gelatin; mix well.
  4. Pour the gelatin mixture over the vegetables and mix thoroughly.
  5. Pour the mixture into a serving dish.
  6. Chill until the salad is set.
